This page explains how to delete your RaceChamp account and what happens to your data when you do.
1. Delete in the app
This is the fastest way to delete your account, and it works entirely on your own device.
- Open RaceChamp and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Remove account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
2. No app installed?
If you no longer have RaceChamp installed, email support@racechamp.app from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We reply and process deletion requests within 5 business days.
3. What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile and account details
- Your avatar image
- Your pilot records
- Your championship enrolments
- Your attendance responses
- Race entries and results tied to your account
- Payment and charge records tied to your account
- Push notification device tokens
- Your notification history
4. What is kept
Championship and race history that other drivers depend on — standings, published results, and records you created or reviewed — is not deleted. Removing it would corrupt other people's results and championship history. Instead, these records are kept but de-linked from you: any reference to your account on them is cleared, so the record survives but is no longer associated with your identity.
5. Retention period
Your account and the data listed under "What is deleted" above are fully purged from our production systems within 30 days of your request. Backups that may still contain this data age out and are purged on the same 30-day cycle. We do not retain this data for any longer period for legal or accounting reasons.
